Arun
manages all operational aspects of Knowledge
Platform's rapidly growing India office.
Arun was previously a partner in a Delhi-based
architectural firm. During his 15 years
of work experience, initially as a senior
architect and subsequently as a partner/manager,
Arun acquired in-depth experience in
managing complex service-oriented assignments,
leading design teams and managing client
relationships. He has worked on numerous
turnkey and consultancy projects involving
project, client, personnel and financial
management under stringent scope of
work conditions and tight delivery deadlines.
Based on this work, Arun acquired extensive
knowledge of and skills in project review
and analysis, design development and
planning, costing and pricing, contract
documentation and bid preparation, project
planning and supervision and arbitration
and dispute management. In addition
to his management skills, Arun is proficient
in AutoCAD, 2D and 3D graphical renderings
and creation of walk through/virtual
reality environments.
Arun obtained his degree as Bachelor
of Architecture form Delhi School of
Planning and Architecture (1982-87),
from where he was the recipient of a
Gold Medal for Outstanding Performance.
In 1987, Arun was awarded the Shankar
Rao Palelkar award by All India Institute
of Architects.
