The Challenge
To help protect the personal information of their customers and to ensure that the employees confirm and comply to the new regulations as defined by the Personal Information Protection Act, one large multinational investment bank needed to train their employees across the world on the various facets of the PIPA. They also wanted to ensure that the employees understood the nuances of the act and are able to clearly understand what constitutes as personal information and what they could or could not do with that information.

The Solution
The large investment bank approached Knowledge Platform based on the company’s experience in providing interactive and engaging compliance learning solutions to the banking and finance community across the Asia/Pacific region. Knowledge Platform was able to leverage its expertise and existing E-Learning content for Privacy protection to quickly turn around a highly interactive and engaging E-Learning solution customized for the bank.

The net result of working with Knowledge Platform was that the large investment bank was able to bring a training solution to their employees very quickly without having to invest the time and capital to develop a solution from scratch. The flexibility to use Knowledge Platform’s existing content along with the ability to customize this content specific to its requirements helped pave the way for a larger relationship with the client.
