Islamabad, February 28, 2018 – In pursuit of digital transformation in the classroom, Knowledge Platform held its first Annual Principals’ Conference today at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This conference provides a platform for school principals to discuss the potential of technology-based learning and how to overcome the challenges that it may bring. 150 principals and school owners attended the event. Launched in partnership with the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) and the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), the ‘Jazz Smart School’ program introduces a smart learning solution to the traditional schooling system through a digital learning platform. Islamabad, February 8, 2018 – Knowledge Platform collaborated with Islamabad Private Schools Association to conduct Islamabad Principals’ Conference in Islamabad Club. Representatives from 41 schools were present at the conference where Knowledge Platform shared their idea behind Learn Smart Classroom. During this year, in addition to public schools, Knowledge Platform targets to reach out to 200 low-cost private schools across Pakistan. December 15, 2016 – The Learn Smart Pakistan Fall Challenge concluded on October 30, 2016. The Pre-Award tests for the Challenge were conducted on November 12, 2016 at the Knowledge Platform Office. A total of 4,155 students and teachers participated in the eight week long challenge which included 3,948 students and 207 teachers. The Fall Challenge was the second last in a series of Challenges held throughout 2016. October 30, 2016 – The Learn Smart Pakistan Fall Challenge concluded on October 30, 2016. The Pre-Award tests were conducted on 12 November, 2016. The eight-week long Challenge was the longest in the series of Challenges held this year. It was preceded by a six-week long Summer Challenge and a series of short Micro Challenges. This is the first time LSP has been spread out throughout the year since it’s launch in 2014. Over the past three years, Learn Smart Pakistan has shown remarkable growth in participation by students and teachers alike.
