August 31 Knowledge Platform Launches Evaluator as First Response to MAS Sanctions on Financial Advisers

In connection with the sanctions imposed recently by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on Financial Advisers in respect of the sale of investment products linked to Lehman Brothers, MAS highlighted the inadequacy of training of Financial Representatives and emphasized the need for more rigorous and frequent training. As a first level of response to this requirement, Knowledge Platform has launched a Financial Representative Evaluator, which is specifically based on Singapore regulations and the non-compliance situations identified by MAS in its review. July 22 Knowledge Platform develops e-Learning courses for SingTel as part of a blended program

Singapore Telecom (SingTel) has engaged Knowledge Platform to develop e-Learning modules as part of their initiative to develop a blended program on soft skills training. In this program, employees complete an e-learning module and pass an online assessment, followed by a short classroom workshop conducted by experts. Of the six modules planned, two have already been converted into the blended learning model and launched successfully. The blended training program has been designed by experienced instructional designers, subject matter experts and seasoned trainers.
