Overview
Six Sigma has become a crucial management tool that leading companies are using to help improve quality, provide better customer service, and drive efficiency and productivity. While Six Sigma can provide tremendous tangible results, it does entail some significant organizational change and poses a training challenge. It is imperative that employees be educated in Six Sigma methodologies for results to occur. Knowledge Platform has developed the Introduction to Six Sigma course that can used either off-the-shelf or further customized to meet a company’s specific Six Sigma requirements in training their employees. This course is built to replace the basic training that had traditionally been done in classrooms thus bringing significant benefits in terms of efficiency and costs.

Some of the Key benefits of using E-Learning to impart Six Sigma training include:

Greater Participation
By training everybody in the company at least on the fundamentals of Six Sigma, the implementation will not become an exclusive initiative of some high-paid staff, instead everybody gets involved, more participation takes place and everybody is part of the Six Sigma culture.

Continuous Training Source
E-Learning is a source for continuous and constant review of the topic even after students have gone through the practical workshops. This provides them with the opportunity to reinforce the learning, to formulate questions, as needed and to close any gaps with the trainer.

Unlimited Scalability
The E-Learning component allows an unlimited scalability both across the organization as well as outside the organization by making it available to partners, suppliers and customers and thus making it a cross-organizational effort.

Faster Replacement
Employees that are leaving the company can be replaced faster. E-Learning provides the only reasonable infrastructure for companies to keep the knowledge on a high level across the entire organization. If employees leave their knowledge is not gone forever but remains available within the organization.
